As we look ahead toward 2025, it’s a great time for us to celebrate a year of innovation, savings for our customers, improved coverages, and enhanced tools for our agent partners to connect customers with HDVI policies.

Driving safety and savings

By the end of 2024, our customers hit a major milestone, driving nearly 700 million miles and earning over $3.2 million in Shift safety discounts.

Expanding coverage to meet your needs

We introduced stronger APD coverages this year—unlimited towing, enhanced personal effects and equipment protection, rental reimbursement, and more—all with fewer fees for endorsements.

Empowering fleets with data

New Fleet Portal reports, like our Weekly Report, help pinpoint coaching opportunities and track safety-critical events, inspections, and more. We’ve also made maps more detailed and easier to access.

Expanding telematics options

We are now compatible with more than 70 telematics solutions, so it’s never been easier for fleets to qualify for HDVI coverage and earn Shift discounts.

Simplifying clearance and quoting

We changed the clearance process to focus solely on Safety Lookback completion, which simplifies the process for agents. Our new Eligibility Checker makes it fast and easy for agents to vet prospective submissions. And updates to TotalQuote make it easier to complete submissions and track quote status.

HDVI Route Model: tailored rates based on where you drive

Unlike traditional insurers that base rates on garaging location, HDVI uses the Route Model to set premiums based on where each fleet actually drives—ensuring fair, individualized pricing.
